Mike Checkk aka Michael Phillips is a very versatile artist dabbling in pop, R&B and Hip Hop, making him one of the most unique of his generation. Born in Memphis Tn, the state blessed to have had much music influence, he learned to appreciate the art. He believes in never limiting his creativity and keeping an ever evolving plethora of music. Therefore his style would be very hard to duplicate. Mike’s influences stem from his church and religious background all the way to jazz, R&B and pop through different learning institutes such as Stax Music Academy and etc. He has yet to release an album but has released two singles now spinning in the city of Memphis and Atlanta with a lot more on the way very soon.
